High Class

Is indecision part of pregnancy? Seriously, sometimes I'm all "must have lasagna or all will perish" and other times it's "must eat, something food-related, what could it be?" Stopped by the grocery tonight in my fog of hunger. I picked up the most random items tonight.

  • Pickles
  • Cookie Dough Ice Cream
  • Frozen Pizza
  • Chicken Nuggets
  • Fresh Corn
  • Mushrooms
  • Grapes
  • Nilla Wafers
  • Cheerios
  • OJ
  • Chocolate Silk Milk
  • Mac-n-Cheese
  • Peanuts
  • Cheese Sticks

The list goes on and on, and makes no sense. And let me tell you what my baby wanted for dinner tonight...no seriously, guess!

Beanie Weenies! A small can of beanie freakin' weenies. Eaten cold, out of the can. Yep, my baby is high class fo' sho'.

I haven't had Nilla wafers since childhood! I guess that's how I'll know I'm preg! Fun!

mmmmmm, beanie weenies tater tots and butter me nots biscuits...my favorite childhood meal (but never cold...you're strange that's all there is to it!)

Beanie Weenies right out of the can, cold, are the best. I never liked them heated. Of course I like Spaghetti-O's cold too, so maybe I am weird.

Oh God, Ashley Forest flashback. For some reason I was over at your place around dinner time, and I saw you pouring spaghetti sauce onto your noodles straight from the jar. "The noodles will heat the sauce!"

Holy crap, I'd forgotten about those refrigerated biscuits with the little chunks of "butter" inside…YUM!

There is a restaurant in Atlanta that serves tater tots and a white cheddar cheese sauce as an appetizer. SO GOOD.

Now I'm hungry.

Yay! Somebody else knows Butter Me Nots...I said I wanted some the other day to Josh and he was all like "What the heck are 'Butter Me Nots'?" He claimed I was making them up. Maybe it's just an Alamance County thang.

For me, it's a toss-up between Butter-Me-Nots and the flaky refrigerated biscuits. Remember those? Oh, how I loved my flaky biscuits. I wonder if I can still buy them? ::scampers off to add "flaky biscuits" to the grocery list::

Why so you drink silk milk instead of cow milk?

I have not had beenie weenies since I was about 8 or so- too funny! Whatever that little lima bean needs!

Rebecca, what is this magical restaurant of tater tots and cheese? You must take me there! :) And the hot spaghetti noodles totally do heat the sauce.

KK, I still drink good ole cow milk too. I just prefer Silk Milk in chocolate, so yummy. I haven't abandoned the cows. :)

Bree, Hmm I think I know what "butter me nots" are...and I def remember the flaky biscuits, yummy.

The magical restaurant is called the Vortex, and we'll most definitely go there next time you're in town. Which, BTW, needs to be soon!
